Monday Motivation Are You Dreading Going Back To Work
Monday Motivation Are You Dreading Going Back To Work I just got back from the grocery store where I ran into a co-worker. I asked him how is Labor Day weekend was going. He said, Any day I dont have to go to work is great. I smiled and went along my way checking off my grocery store to-do list. But then I thought about it more and realized that this is not how I ever want to respond if someone asks me how my time off work is. I know work can be tough and draining and it is GREAT to have a day off. BUT, if you hate your job so much that you are dreading going back, then maybe your current job isnt the right job for you. Maybe you have been doing the same thing forever now and just need a change. So today on Labor Day as you are enjoying yourself and your day off work, think about how you are feeling about going back to work tomorrow. Ask yourself this one little question -Am I dreading going back to work tomorrow? If the answer is yes, spend some time thinking about what else you would rather be doing and if your current job is fulfilling your purpose and values. If your job doesnt fulfill you and make you satisfied, maybe its time for a change?
